About The Wallingford Farmers Market

Located in Meridian Park at the corner of Meridian Avenue N and N 50th Street, Wallingford Farmers Market has been recognized by the Washington State Farmers Markets Association (WSFMA) as one of the best farmers markets in the state.

In addition to the market’s farm-fresh offerings, shoppers at Wallingford can enjoy sweet summer treats and prepared foods, with plenty of space to picnic under the apple trees, run around on the playground, or take a stroll through the lovely P-Patch Garden at the Good Shepherd Center. It is a lively market often accompanied by music from buskers and the sound of families and friends spread out on the grass enjoying the summer evenings.

THE WALLINGFORD LOCAL

Historic Wallingford is teaming up with Wallingford’s own Feliks Banel and community radio station SPACE 101.1 FM to do a once-a-month live radio broadcast at the neighborhood Farmers Market this summer.

Called The Wallingford Local, the show will feature an eclectic assortment of guests including musicians, spoken-word artists, historians, business owners, and others. Farmers Market news and vendor spotlights are also planned. The sound and feel will be local, organic, folksy and sometimes downright corny – but always in support of telling the stories of Wallingford past, present, and future in order to build and strengthen community.

The Wallingford Local will be broadcast live on SPACE 101.1 FM, a people-powered, arts-focused community radio station, and available via livestream and podcast. It also will be accessible in person to Farmers Market patrons. Stop by and say hello!

Every Wednesday, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m, From May to September.

Please park along Meridian Avenue N. No parking available in the Good Shepherd Center parking lot or along Sunnyside Avenue N.
